AC Arlington

Background

This is currently a “boys only club” though they are looking to add girls teams; the club looks to provide a fun and competitive environment for kids who love to play game of soccer. They tout that the cost of the club as less than half of most soccer clubs yet they their teams have finished at, or near, the top of their divisions on a consistent basis.

They take seriously at AC Arlington as they expect a full commitment from players and parents. They expect the club to take prioity over social or other athletic obligations though family is first (?). All players must participate in practices, games, and team activities for the entire season.

Club Highlights

There are currently 10 boys teams.

Coaches

Six coaches whos bios are located on the AC Arlington site.

Camps/Clinics

There is an ACA Summer Soccer camp where they try to stimulate a love for the game in young athletes by showing them how to accelerate their own progress and success; AC Arlington coaches and guest coaches teach both basic and advanced skills to participants on an individual level according to their abilities. The camp is open to boys AND girls ages 5 to 15; the camp emphasizes the development of skill, technique, decision making abilities, sportsmanship and self-confidence.

Well… we were member of this club but the review is spot on as they take it way too serious for us. Demand too much for the kids and ar enot even that nice about it either. wish they could treat all kids equal but seem to focus on the stronger kids who have more potentail!
