Brazilian United FC

Background

Brazilian United FC, based in Everett, Mass, touts themselves as the first Brazilian soccer club in the Boston area having been founded in 2010. A great feature of their website is that users can toggle between Portuguese and English. This club offers year-round soccer having both indoor and outdoor facilities and currently has only boys teams.

This relatively new soccer club aims to developing soccer skills, encourage hard work and player development, reward positive attitudes and allow the kids to have fun while doing all of this.

The focus of Brazilian United is not only to teach and advance the kids’ skill level but to also develop each player to their highest potential. They maintain that they have superior coaching…

Brazilian United expects their players to train hard, set personal and team goals, improve their soccer skill set, know the game and treat all with mutual respect: this applies to teammates, coaches, parents, referees and spectators.

I am not sure what league, if any they belong to. At one point recently they belonged to NSL but there is no mention of such on the Brazilian United site.

Camps/Clinics

While not necessarily a clinic, Brazilian United FC offers an exchange program for their soccer players; this is for their top players and they allow them to travel to Brazil to get exposure to players in that country; this is a fantastic opportunity for elite-level soccer players to get some great experience.

See details on their website.

Website

  • Good website overall; provide the basics that are needed to ask further questions of others before joining.
  • Great pictures of the kids in action; give a real sense of the club atmosphere; nice to see so many pictures.
  • Couple of menus brought me nowhere; may need to be updated.
  • Some outdated information on certain pages.

  1. Does this team take players with high potential and ability to brazil so they can play professionally?

    1. Raul Cantu says:

Coach is a joke! Is is always scamming and only cares about his kids that he coaches. Don’t play here!

  2. First off, my kids have only been with the club since August, 2013. Here are some observations:

    * The coaches are Brazilian and most of the players are Brazilian, so, sometime you would hear the coaches instruct the players in Portuguese.
    * We’ve only seen one girl play during the practices besides our daughter. So, I don’t believe they have a Girls team unless more girls come. Therefore, the girls play with the boys at their age range.
    * The coaches have a passion for the game, which we love!
    * For the price, we believe it gives us the most value, especially when you get 10% discount per child for multiple children.
    * Practices are Mondays and Wednesdays from 6PM-8PM. It is currently held at the Latitude Gym in Peabody, MA, but will soon return to the Everett area. The one thing about this is there is no permanent facility therefore, they are dependent on town/city scheduling and facility availability, when they need to use a public facility.
    * We haven’t experience this, but they do Futsal in the Winter time, which is one of the reason why we came here.

I will see how it goes after a year and will hopefully update. So far, we love it.

  3. So with just one comment this club is highly rated here. Don’t get it. What about many of the other clubs with great comments?

I play in this club…… And I love it !!!
