FC Boston

FC Boston

Background

FC Boston was created in 2015; this merged Scorpions SC and FC Greater Boston Bolts.

FC Boston has enrolled almost 2000 players and manages more than 130 boys & girls teams age U9 to U19 and is the only club in New England with membership in the US Soccer Development Academy (USSDA) and Elite Club National League (ECNL).

They also have membership in the National Premier League (NPL) and New England Premiership (NEP).

FC Boston is organized into separate geographic areas:

  • North
  • MetroWest
  • Central
  • South
  • Southeast of Boston
  • Boston

This will ensure that players in all regions have full access to FC Boston’s expertise and programs.

So the boys are Bolts and the Girls are Scorpions.

  1. Terrible since the merger with the Bolts. Communication stinks, some good coaches who are over committed and miss games and practices and lots of mediocre coaching.

Value also stinks, 3 “included tournaments” all happen to be FCBoston tournaments. Columbus Day tournament is just an interclub jamboree that just puts money in the clubs pocket instead of developing the players.

Can’t wait for South Shore Select, NEFC or CFC next year.

  2. Horrible…. Coaching stinks like trash, kids don’t learn.

    1. Coaching is great and the teams are great
