Background
Mass City F.C. is a new club based in Hanover; started in the Fall of 2014.
Mass City teams play in the Northeast Soccer League (NSL).
Club Composition
The club has boys and girls teams providing year round soccer and Futsal.
Academy
The club has a youth program as well – M.C.F.C. Academy.
The focus here is on foot skills making sure the young soccer players are comfortable possessing the ball. They play small sided-games allowing players to get plenty of touches on the ball and the learn the basics about positions, decision making and team work. They also introduce Futsal to the kids.
Mass City F.C. Academy is for ages 5 – 9 and cost about $200.
Tournaments
The club has played in the Cranberry Cup; not sure of other tournaments.

- Has most of the basics and is building new content.
- A little club history could not hurt as there are many soccer clubs on the South Shore and the origins of Mass City may be confused with other clubs.
Very good club, joined at the most recent tryout. Incredible staff, great training and a really positive atmosphere within the club. We’re really enjoying it so far!
Great club so far; my son joined recently with a friend and both were welcomed with open arms; low key and not too serious!
Small indeed but a good start. My son tried out but just too small and new. think they’ll do good down the road a bit
