hate this club; parents are obnoxious and terrible trainers.
Trevor never had any involvement with Nova. He just came on here to bash. Probably has several other alias’ that he’s posted under on other club sites. Nova is a fantastic fit for most families that want quality training and a family atmosphere
Well….we came here along w/5 or 6 new players and went from D-3 Maple to a promotion to Division 2 in our first year together. The coach has been phenomenal, parents are exceptional and everyone gets along very well. Extra events beyond soccer to social gatherings and I don’t have a single complaint. The team offered offered free skills training 1/2 way through the year and went out of their way to find out the most convenient times (decided to hold them 1 hour before practices…then right into practice).
We’re the club’s U-13′s group and moving to U-14 in D-2. If you want a positive experience with a great group of people, you should have your daughter try this out. If it were terrible, I’d certainly say so…you won’t be disappointed. The location is the only thing that’s not ideal but a soccer experience is all what EVERYONE makes of it. All kids have improved, and the same Fall 2011 team who was admittedly “shakey” went 13-1-1 in fall and spring Maple (combined records). (Spring 2012: http://games.maplesoccer.com/index.cfm/section/100/ and Fall 2011: http://games.maplesoccer.com/index.cfm/section/101/
Spring link is incorrect: This was 2012 Spring Season.
We left NEFC and this club was recommended by our previous coach. If you’re not in the market for a large market club….NOVA is terrific (look at all their teams…all D-1 / D-2 and do well ).
NOVA is terrible! The coaches are just rude. one said shut up to my son. The website could use lots of work.
I have coached against Nova and have a high respect for their staff. They are very professional and if I had a child in the area I would not have a problem with them playing for their club. I have worked summer camps with some of their staff members and their sessions are very technical and tactical. Keep up the good work Nova!!!
