Background
Though based in Providence, RI Tidal Wave Soccer Club (SC) covers the Southeastern Mass / RI area. Tidal Wave SC teams play in the Northeast Soccer League (NSL).
The focus in this club is player development and they strive to create a fun and challenging environment so the kids can thrive. The Tidal Wave staff is made up of coaches with extensive coaching backgrounds.
The club was formed in 2002 with players coming mostly from Rehoboth and Swansea/Somerset (all in Massachusetts) with one thing in common: they were looking for a home where they could learn to become the best soccer players that the could be.
That first team of Tidal Wave was strong enough to become one of the strongest in the area being ranked in the top 55 teams in Region One.
Tidal Wave trains ten months of the year; their indoor traiing sessions are held held at facilities designed for soccer (as opposed to gyms).
Young Players
Tidal Wave touts an Elite Player Academy; setup to younger players a love for the game and the technique needed to achieve individual success. I could not find any additional information on the Academy.
