There is a Hammer FC Camp; this is for kids at just about every age group.

Training Academy

Hammer FC runs advanced player development programs that, they claim, are the most “comprehensive training sessions in soccer”. They’re created for the very serious soccer player seeking the next level of their soccer development.

Run over many weeks, the Hammer Academy’s goal is to build well-rounded players utilizing a technical, tactical, physical and mental training model approach. Each facet is clearly defined with time, pressure and space restraints added, forcing players to execute technically, tactically, physically and mentally; class sizes are very small with a 5:1 coaching ratio.

  1. My two boys are in their second year with Hammer FC and have had a fabulous time! They have both elevated their games while getting outstanding instruction from coaches who are kind and nurturing. I have not seen any abusive behavior from any of the coaches and was quite shocked to see that quote above. In fact, we have experienced exactly the opposite behavior from all the coaches, but especially from the 3 head coaches.

  2. One of the very few elite, small and independent youth soccer clubs left in this area. We have had great experience with Hammer and our two children love the club! The club is very small comparing to others in this area, and they intentionally keep only one team per age group, to ensure every player gets the proper training and development. The coaches are very approachable and care about each player’s unique talent and personality. Our children feel respected and nurtured, as well as professionally coached. The only drawback is that most players come to tryouts through word of mouth, and there is no active marketing effort to attract more players.

  3. Soccer Mum says:

My daughter played for Hammer FC and has now progressed to Olympic Development Program and had a great learning experience at half the cost of rival clubs

  4. Beware of this club. There are abusive coaching practices in place where winning far out weighs player development, public humiliation is frequently used if players are making mistakes, resources are placed behind star payers and teams, and coaching staff is poorly trained in relation to youth development. If your child or teen is a likely collegiate recruit, then he or she is likely to get the support and resources of the club as it will reflect well on the club and expand their reputation. But be very cautious about exposing your child and developing player to the poor judgement, coaching outbursts, threats, and inconsistent treatment that comes with playing for this club.

  5. Have two sons in Hammer FC and they love it. The coaches are great and they also know how to create great players.

  6. Have a son in Hammer – loves it and we like what he’s learned on and off the field, great club and worth a look, set up a meeting and you’ll be impressed.

  7. Club not THAT expensive when you start to look around and see what you pay for. There are definitely pricier soccer clubs than Hammer FC!

  8. No a great value in my opinion, been there for two years and just so expensive; can’t see us staying with Hammer as better value clubs in the area.

    Thanks!

  9. The coaching is great and the club has a great environment to produce soccer stars. Young players can flourish at Hammer FC.
